James and I drove up to Leicester today as we're staying at my uni house and going to Download festival during the weekend and met up with Han, Katie and Dunc this evening. Dunc had arranged, after prompted by someone else on our course (who then didn't turn up), drinks with everyone and those others who came to Italy with us. Thankfully some people didn't turn up as they knew they weren't really welcome but Tom, the Sex Panther, Barbados Natalie and her boyfriend, Ailsa and Becky all turned up but only after we had worried that no-one was coming! Laura and her friends from home came for a bit and it was nice to meet them. Even Han was a bit late because she'd been for a job interview for an art dealer job on a cruise ship! The job sounds amazing but she has to do some training next week before she finds out if she's gets it. We went to The Landsdowne for drinks and although their beverages are lovely, they're pretty expensive. I followed Katie's lead and went for a Berry Kiss which involves some concoction of strawberries, cream and milk. Any drink with milk in gets my vote!
