I've found my ultimate drink: Cherry Cider..... This is better than when we saw Serge from Kasabian yesterday! It might even be better than milk? No, that was a rash statement. But it is an amazing drink. Me, Laura, Jimmy & Vicki have been to Prezzo for a meal with Brooke: starter, main course & drink for £10! Just found out Vick can drink a box of wine in one night. ACHIEVEMENT.
Having a lovely shopping day with Hannah & Katie before we go out tonight. We found these fur coats in H&M which were horrendously brilliant! So far, I have a fantastic pair of new heels, a peacock dress, yummy wine for tonight & a scented candle. Currently trying to persuade Kate to buy some beaut pink shoes!
You'd never know this was a student house, apart from the fact it is very narrow! Not only did we get a new bathroom last year but now a new kitchen. We still have the same oven but we're getting a new grill pan - pretty exciting stuff, I'm sure you'll agree..... The kitchen's main features are Lloyd Grossman sauces, tea & pies when Vick arrives tomorrow! We know how to live the university high life.

We knew these new traffic calming bollards were going to be odd but on our way to the fish & chip shop, we realised that they are very creepy. I don't think children are actually ever this small.... Leicester Council obviously thought they were a good idea!
A gig overlooking a ski slope? Who'd have thought it? Suzuka played a great gig & their songs have intriguing lyrics. Keep an eye out for them in the future. If a band has members called 'Z' and 'Bean', surely they can't be bad?! The skiing (both good & bad) has made me want to go again! I love skiing in the morning and then having a fabulous lunch. I might even prefer it to a holiday in the sun. And that's saying something!
Met Liz, Ginn & Shep for a cup of tea as me & Liz are going back up to university this weekend. It's been a summer of laughter, not much sun, play schemes & cheap nights out but now we're back to the work of uni & college & hardcore excessive drinking!
I have always wanted a high-vis jacket & Denis got me an official one! The birthday fortnight continues with this jacket, a Henri Matisse colouring book, sparkles & flowers from Paperchase, a sheep key ring, a charm bracelet with a beautiful blue charm & the first Marmaduke Duke album! Brilliant.
