Download: Rage Against The Machine for the second time this week

I think to think that seeing Rage twice in six days is some sort of World Record but it's probably not unfortunately. Today started well and the weather seemed good so I put on a dress - this gamble paid off as it stayed dry and even got pretty warm at one point. The food stalls at festivals are normally quite average but there are some at Download that are really original with good food that's not made from grease. Today I had some minted lamb and hummus in Arabic bread with a Morroccan salad and then later, hallumi and roasted peppers with a honey and mustard dressing and a hearty salad which included peas and celery. None of those rank burgers for me! But I'm now just extremely thirsty - drinks are extortionately priced in the arena and even water is over £2. Looking forward to some milk when I get back to the house! Saw some good bands today including Cancer Bats and Lamb of God but we also saw Megadeath and Deftones who were pretty poor. Rage unfortunately came on twenty minutes late and when they eventually arrived, they had to stop twice as people were getting seriously injured in the crowd. Some fool was also setting off fireworks right at the front so I hope other people weren't hurt from that. They weren't even good fireworks. The band cut down on the political talk to fit more music in but still ran over by about ten minutes. Well worth the wait though!
